Arras is famous for its Flemish Baroque-style squares, providing a privilege setting for the Town Hall and the belfry, which is included on the Unesco list of World Heritage sites. Description
A former Jesuit monastery dating back to the 16th century and later converted into a Red Cross hospital and then a college, the building became the Best Western Hotel de l'Univers. It has 38 rooms, all carefully decorated in their own individual style. They are all equipped with a private bathroom, toilets, television with english channels. The hotel has a lift, a laundry, a bar (opened until 1 am), and Internet with WIFI access (with extra charge). The hotel's restaurant, Le Clusius, has its reputation now well established in Northern France. Fine food has pride of place on the menu, with an emphasis on regional dishes that change with the seasons.
